For Federico, Val d’Orcia is not just a landscape to cross, but a land to “read.” An agronomist and oenologist with over twenty years of experience among the most prestigious vineyards of Montalcino, Federico is the one who combines a passion for pedaling with a deep knowledge of the territory. He doesn’t just guide you along the paths: he explains why that hill produces that specific Brunello and tells you the story hidden behind every cypress tree.
After a life spent between competitive skiing and high-level business management, he chose to invest all his energy into Pedala e Ripara, overseeing the direction of every tour and operational management. He is the organizational mind of the team and the point of reference for those seeking a cultured and immersive cycle tourism experience. When he’s not busy designing new routes or managing the back office, you’ll find him in the saddle, camera around his neck, ready to capture the perfect light on the Sienese clays. With him, cycling becomes a sensory journey through sport, nature, and great wines.

A graduate in agricultural sciences and an expert in the maintenance of luxury greenery, Alessio looks after the bike fleet with the same meticulousness used to tend an English green. He is the key figure of our mobile assistance: he ensures that the bikes delivered to accommodation facilities are always performing at 100%. In the saddle, he is a reassuring and technical presence, capable of giving the right advice at the right time, transforming every ride into a smooth, safe, and unforgettable experience.
